Here are our suggestions on how to set up your notifications and documents. Your IT support person can assist.
When you subscribe to Automio the email address you provide for your practice will be used to receive notifications, such as when a client has started an interview.
We suggest setting up the Automio account with either a shared email address or an email address with rules, so you can manage the notifications how you’d like.
To set up a shared email address, follow the instructions for your email provider. This will mean that all notifications will be sent to anyone with access to the shared email address. In Office 365, set up a shared mailbox in the Admin app. Your IT support person can assist with this.
To set up an email address with rules, select an email address then follow the instructions for your email software to set up rules of what happens when certain notifications are received. For example, if you’d like a nominated person to receive all notifications when a client has started an interview for a certain document, set up a rule in Outlook that when an email is received from the Automio email address which contains the title of the document, forward it to the nominated person’s email address. Your IT support person can assist with this.
If you’d prefer that just one person receive all notifications, use their email address in the Automio subscription. This person can then be responsible for forwarding relevant notifications to the most appropriate person.
Direct documents through your client access portal
These are documents that are available through your client access portal.
The completed documents will be sent to the email address that is entered by the person completing the interview. Enter your email address and payment details, then complete the interview. The customised document will then be emailed in Word to the email address provided.
You can also share a link a document with your client. They can enter their email address and payment details, then complete the interview. The customised document will then be emailed directly to your client in Word to the email address provided.
Direct documents through your Automio subscription
These documents are available through your Automio subscription.
To complete the interview yourself or while together with your client, select the ‘Start’ button for the selected document on your Automio dashboard. The fee will be charged to your law practice using the payment details provided when setting up the Automio account. You will be able to download the completed document in Word and it will be emailed to the email address provided for your law practice.
To share a link to the interview for your client to complete, send them a link to a document with Review Included. The fee will be charged to your law practice using the payment details provided when setting up the Automio account. The document will then be emailed to the email address provided for your legal practice or business.
